Love this place. Clean, lots of space for dogs to run around and play. There are also trails you can go on a nice hike with your furry friend(s).

This is a great spot for my dog to play and socialize while getting some energy out. The space is huge and fully fenced. Every time we’ve gone, the dogs have all been friendly and the owners typically seem nice too. There’s a separate small dog area, but you have to walk through the main section to get to it, it's very small and it’s always empty.

This park was much larger than a lot of spaces I have seen and many of the locals are super nice and their dogs super playful. If you want space for a run this is it but if you have a smaller dog and are not sure how it may interact with bigger dogs don't worry there is a section for you as well.

Unfortunately there are at least 17 rules for this dog park. It is a beautifully spacious, perfect wonderful park for your dog, but you are not allowed to bring your dog there unless they are registered in new Rochelle and have a permit. And on top of that God forbid you have a residency outside of Westchester County. You’re not allowed to bring your dog there. I drove all the way from White Plains, New York, like 20 something minutes away to bring my dog here on a beautiful day only to find out that I couldn’t because of the fact that only people from New Rochelle can bring their dog here and even then, only if they have a valid permit. And you have to be a Westchester County resident to get a permit.

I had a distressing experience recently when a dog launched an unexpected attack on my puppy. The aggressive dog's owner reacted by claiming that her dog was merely displaying dominance, which left me deeply unsettled. In a situation like this, it seems only sensible for dogs with such tendencies to be fitted with a muzzle for the safety of others. However, this owner appeared oblivious to the potential dangers posed by her dog's behavior. She seemed to believe everyone else should adjust to accommodate her dog’s dominant nature. This mindset reveals a significant gap in her understanding of responsible pet ownership. It would benefit her to gain a new perspective on creating a safer environment for all animals, rather than insisting that others adapt to her dog’s aggression.
