Nice open space with separate dog parks for large and small dogs. Trails are clean, but some places may be bumpy for bikers. Lake is well maintained and has plenty of wild life visiting. Perfect for an afternoon or weekend stroll

This review is for the dog park. It is located on the Piedmont street entrance. Where the old fire station was. It is nice to finally have a dog park on this side of town. Kinda disappointed that there's no poop bags stations.or that there's no water trough for the dogs. There is one near the animal rehab center. For the price the city was charged, the park is very basic. I like that the small dog side has all new sod. The big dog side has grass that was previously there. I've been there a couple of times in the evening. A really nice crowd, very well behaved dogs. Also even though they don't have bags available, I've noticed that everyone has been picking up after their pets. Be aware that the only trash can is located next to the bench under the shade.

They’ve got a 1.1 mile loop walking path. Kids play area. Water stations are available half way through the walk for water bottles and dogs too. Lots of open space but with wild grass, not a picnic place in the wild. Also saw a lot (more then 6) of homeless cars parked in the parking lot, must be their hang out spot during park hours.

A fantastic park & play area for kids of all ages. Two main play spaces for kids 3-12yrs. Handful of slides, plenty of different climbing challenges, music area, & swings. Some shade coverage & a few benches (wish there were just a few more so adults could sit but still watch the children). Typical park bathrooms, technically clean but looked kind of rough. Has a Little Free Library too! So many ground squirrels, with very little fear of people. Don't let the littles get too close, one tried to bite my youngster.
