Pioneer Park is such a great spot for families and anyone who enjoys being outdoors. We loved that there are two huge playgrounds with equipment for all ages-perfect if you have kids of different stages. We lucked out and grabbed ice cream from a little vendor while we were there. There are plenty of walking paths, tennis courts, and gazebos that would be great for parties or gatherings. One unique feature is the historic cemetery on the park grounds…very peaceful and well kept. The only downside is that there are very few parking spots, so it can be a bit tricky during busy times. Overall though, this is a wonderful park and we’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely a beautiful park now. Amazing upgrade from the previous park. My granddaughters, 2 and 8, loved it and did not want to leave. We live 5 minutes walking distance from Miwok Park, but they have no interest in that park now. It should be upgraded like Pioneer Park. Great job, City of Novato!

My kids LOVED it! And we had no idea there was an off-road bike park there for our toddler. Awesome experience

I am from out of town so I was just walking around looking for a park to hang out at & relax. It’s a nice park with gradual sloping lawns, plenty of trees, park benches & tables, tennis courts, restrooms, playground, & even a little cemetery at the top of the hill. A really nice spot for walking around, relaxing in the shade or sun, & getting a bit of exercise. I’d just be very careful with the lawn area as it’s very uneven probably due to gophers.

Awesome awesome park! There’s so much unique fun things to do for kids of all ages. Parking of course is tricky we parked on the street.
