What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
Excellent dog park, especially for visitors to Marin County. Novato residents are regulars. Good paved walking trail loop for the humans and much grassy running-around area for our dogs. Separate small dog area for shy pets. (Note there’s a weekly closing of a few hours for maintenance and clean-up. )
Read more about Dog runBuster and Lady recently stayed with Park A Pup for 11 days. I called several times to inquire on how their stay was going and each time I got a positive review. I feel confident that the staff at Park A Pup are very knowledgeable about dogs and took very good care of our pups while we were away. I would highly recommend checking them out if you’re looking for dog boarding. They really do care!
Read more about Park-A-Pup NovatoThis is one of the nicest dog parks in Marin county. Large open area with dog trick areas. Covered areas for rainy days and a nice blocky path and a bathroom for humans! Can't get much better than that!
Read more about Dogbone MeadowPioneer Park is such a great spot for families and anyone who enjoys being outdoors. We loved that there are two huge playgrounds with equipment for all ages-perfect if you have kids of different stages. We lucked out and grabbed ice cream from a little vendor while we were there. There are plenty of walking paths, tennis courts, and gazebos that would be great for parties or gatherings. One unique feature is the historic cemetery on the park grounds…very peaceful and well kept. The only downside is that there are very few parking spots, so it can be a bit tricky during busy times. Overall though, this is a wonderful park and we’ll definitely be back!
