This is a great family friendly area that is perfect for kids to explore. The maze of garden paths with dinosaur tracks was well kept and there were many peaceful, thoughtful places to sit and enjoy the plants and wildlife. The red rocks have numerous little caves and areas to climb and sit. The view of Saint George and the temple at sunset are beautiful. A lot of us brought a picnic dinner to watch the sunset and the hike down in the dark was safe with a small flashlight. The pioneer rim trail is an easy hike that is also good for mountain biking.

The most lovely place. Lots of rocks and features for kids to play on. Great views of the city of St George, Zion, Snow Canyon, Pine Mountain (with snow on it), the Giant "D" all the things. The "Crack" is there to hike through. Its short, but super narrow. Enter at your own risk.

This is an amazing place for short hike. The city views are beautiful. My kids loved every minute of it. Since these are not high altitudes, it is absolutely safe for kids to hike with little supervision. If you are spending few days in St George, this is worth the visit.

A beautiful park near St George Utah with beautiful landscapes. Parking was free & the local residents we met were friendly. My husband and I spent a couple of hours doing little hikes , explore the area & enjoyed some quality time. Highly recommend

⭐️ Pioneer Park – St. George, Utah Amazing red-rock landscape with tons of unique formations and open space to explore. There’s plenty of parking on a first-come basis, and the views over St. George are absolutely stunning. It’s fun to climb, jump, and run around the rocks, and every corner looks like a different shade of red, orange, and brown. Great spot for photos, short hikes, and enjoying the desert scenery. Highly recommended for a quick stop or a full hour of exploring! 📸✨
