There are several gaps in the fences around the small dog area in which they can escape or cross over into the large dog area. None of that matters much because people with big dogs have no quams about using the small dog area. Friendly or not, size matters when one's dog only weighs 10 lbs.

3 separate, large enclosed areas for big, small and training dogs. Always clean and safe, Buster's favorite spot!

Portola dog Park is a really good dog park with a playground right above the hell that connects with a windy ramp and has three dog parks all connected, but fenced off dividing each other with grass and sand in each one has fake grass and that one is for no specific size of dog and then the other two have real grass and one is small dogs 30 pounds and under and then the other is big dogs 30 pounds and over the big dog Park currently has cones set up for dogs to go around and things for dogs to jump over the other dog park has a big ramp where the dogs go over and jump over the last dog park doesn’t really have anything and each dog park has a few trees in the area where we are supposed to grow. The humans is surrounded by cement and has three benches each 03 benches in each park, covered by a big red umbrella, the overall cleanliness of the restrooms is your average public restroom in those restrooms are right by the park so if you’re on a trip and you’re staying at the courtyard, Marriott, or one of the hotels nearby and you decide to bring her for a friend along with you then Portola dog Park is a great option I mean, why else would I come here every day for my dog I wouldn’t come here if it wasn’t good trust me

I really like this dog park. The areas are maintained well and people are friendly. My main concern is the oak tree that was planted in the single use dog area on the far left. It is dropping acorns, which can cause toxicity and intestinal blockages to dogs when eaten. I will try to reach the city of Lake Forest to let them know. Please be aware of this issue and pay attention to any acorns your dog may try to ingest.
