Great place for Family reunions. Been coming to this park for over 40 years now. Thank you for the upgraded Bathrooms, but my only Down fall for this is the Dog Park. A few dog owners let there Pitbulls out an they took off after a few of my younger cousins and I just don't understand why Shelby would put a dog park in at this location. But its whatever. Still a good location for families to come together
We really enjoy this park… since it is reservable, it is a great place to host events like work picnics, church picnics, etc. Large pavilion, well-kept restrooms, nice play-set, two volleyball courts, and a huge shaded lawn that’s perfect for yard games. A real asset to the Shelby area…
Nice open space for the dogs to run or just to walk. We often visit and bring lunch or dinner and sit under the pavilion.
