Not smelly. Great location next to shops, restaurants, hotel, and the mall. Swan boats make for a great date. Peaceful but a little loud right next to the main road. Plenty of parking. Great views of the hotel, mural, Grand Prix.

I was threatened and put in danger!! How can a ride on a swan pedal boat become a threat to your life?! I was staying at the Hyatt hotel. Right next to it there’s a lake where you can rent and ride a pedal swan. My 8-year-old son really wanted to do it. Of course, I didn’t mind! During the ride, our pedal boat broke down and we got stuck on an island. There was no way off the island. I called the company phone number listed on the receipt, I called the number written on the pedal boat, and I called the Hyatt. No one answered! After 40 minutes, two technicians finally arrived and said that I’m an idiot and that I don’t know how to pedal. I got angry and asked them to show me how to do it properly. No one did! I personally showed them that the pedal boat did not respond to the controls. I have this on video! But the staff kept insisting that I don’t know how to pedal and that I’m an idiot. They literally used those words! When I asked several times, “Show me how it works and I’ll record it on video,” do you know what they told me??? Now turn off your imagination and picture this: 10 p.m. It’s dark. No one around (we’re behind the hotel). You, your 8-year-old son, and a 67-year-old grandmother. And you’re trying to prove that the swan pedal boat is broken. And they tell you… “Give me your phone number and tomorrow we’ll settle this like men.” Seriously???? Today I ordered a ride for my son, and tomorrow I’m supposed to “settle it like men” somewhere under a bridge with some Latinos????? ARE YOU SERIOUS?????

Didn't get to ride the swan since we didn't reserved online but had a nice walk around the lake and to our surprise was a beer and taco festival. Even though we didn't go in, just a nice music beat outside the fense was good enough haha.

Took my best friend here for a unique experience. Much more fun than I anticipated. Very organized employees from beginning to end. The swans were fairly easy to paddle and the view at night was quaint. Though I am a bit older I felt comfortable amongst the teenagers and/or younger adults on dates, a drive inn theater of modern times. Would recommend, thank you 😊!

Nice area to see, stroll and float about! Right next to the Hyatt Hotel, it’s easily accessible from Shoreline Village, across E. Shoreline Drive. Great place to take the kids and honey’s for a little swan boat ride! It’s also enjoyable to take in along the walk around the odd shaped pond. It can be a break from convention business to throw down a blanket on the grass, have a picnic and relax in the ocean air! The small park and pond are not part of the Hyatt Hotel, contrary to its guest list, as some regular visitors here are likely listed with the Social Services Department. Here in the presence of the hotel and the Convention Center, there’s security guards and surveillance, as well as patrols of peace officers, so everybody seems to get along! There’s a boat rental office located by the north end of the Shoreline Drive pedestrian bridge.
