Red Sunset Park is one of the nicest community parks in Gresham and a perfect spot for families. The playground is well-maintained, with plenty of equipment for kids of different ages — from swings and slides to climbing structures and a tot lot for little ones. The area is safe, clean, and surrounded by benches and picnic tables, making it easy for parents to relax while keeping an eye on their children. Beyond the playground, the park has so much to offer. The pond with its fountain is peaceful and adds a beautiful touch of nature, often attracting ducks and geese that kids love to watch. There’s a paved walking path around the park that’s great for a short stroll, jog, or just enjoying the scenery. The park also features open fields, basketball courts, soccer areas, and reservable picnic shelters with BBQ grills, making it ideal for family gatherings or community events. Everything feels well cared for, and the mix of open space and shade from mature trees creates a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, Red Sunset Park is a wonderful place to spend a morning or afternoon — whether you’re there for the playground, a walk around the pond, or a picnic with friends. It’s a true neighborhood treasure in Gresham.

Beautiful park, with covered picnic areas and picnic areas throughout park. There is something for everyone.

This park is very well maintained. One of my favorite places to fly kites - when soccer isn't happening. Parking is limited, and this place gets a lot of teaffic, so if you're looking to get away from it all, even if only for a moment, go further east.

Fun park. Clean seasonal restrooms. Picnic tables. Easy walking trail. Best part is the duck pond. Lots of ducks and geese.

Red Sunset Park is a nice place for a picnic, bbq, or to play sports. There are two pavilions for rent with a bbq spot. Right next to each pavilion is a playground. There are a few basketball hoops, a baseball field, a soccer field,a walking path around the entire park, a pond with some fountains, and bathrooms. The parking is a bit limited, and it's right next to apartment buildings parking. The pavilions could be further apart from each other because it feels like you're at the same party.
