Beautiful! Hopefully the city does not ever ruin this one like they did river walk dog park. For those traveling, you need a code to get in. I believe you can still get a day pass from the city of Des Moines. Not 100% on that, but well worth it if you can. There's plenty of space outside the dog park if you have any trouble getting a day pass. If the squirrels are out and your pup is a hunter.....good luck getting them to leave.

Patrons take extremely good care of this lovely dog park. It has a figure 8 (ish) finished walking path. It used to be a trailer court that was converted into the dog park. You must have a DSM City Dog Parks membership ($20 per dog annually)

Pretty good sized fenced in area for dogs. No play stuff, but a good walking path around the outside, lots of trees, and provided water with bowls. Poop bags are spaced around the outside as well for picking up when needed.

Great place for dogs and people to walk. Most people are responsible owners. A nice sidewalk around the park for owners. About 4 picnic tables to sit at. A port a potty for people. Plenty of parking. A nice trail is close by that isn't too long. Grannies ice cream, when open in the summer, is close for summer treats.

This is a large dog park and has paved walkway long the fence great for getting a nice walk or jog in while your dog is having fun. An amazing place with nice people. No problems with any pups there so far!
