To be honest , this is a beautiful park. However, i'm never coming back, specially with my kid. The park has plenty of free parking, basketball courts, playground and a small trail with beautiful river views. Sadly, it needs maintenance and it's super dirty. It has benches with trash, trash all over the place including trash bags (not even kidding) people smoking marihuana on every corner and I get it is legal but, next to the playground?! Come on. And others blasting horrible music on their cars. I couldn't even understand the music it sounded horrible. Maybe I came on a bad day?! Still, not worth it and, wouldn't recommend.
This place is a homeless camp and the free parking is being used by local trucking businesses and illegal food trucks. There should be a parking attendant and security so tax payers can enjoy it. Dont go there at night unless you carry mace or a firearm.
