I absolutely adore this place; it is truly my sanctuary. Each morning, I find immense pleasure in sitting here peacefully, lost in my thoughts while reading my favorite book and listening to the sounds of the trees and birds. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the existence of places like this in DC.
Beautiful land donated to become an urban oasis. Nice rolling hills with real farm homes at the top of the noll. Dogs are allowed, but on leash on certain times and months. Check the website.. Great spot for a picnic. No parking.
Conveniently located park, dog, friendly, people friendly. Plenty of space to have a picnic or host range of activities, with consideration to the surrounding neighborhood.
This location requires you live in the immediate area, and pay $175.00 just to join the waitlist to allow your dog to play here. The other members are pretty snooty and happy to make you feel unwelcome.
Nice park that has restricted hours as a dog park where you can have your dog(s) off the leash. It is usually early morning and later in the day with hours varying from weekdays to weekends. It is the best dog park I have been to DC. My dog loves going there and playing with all the other dogs. For the most part, everyone's dogs are friendly and enjoy playing with other dogs. Best dog park in DC by my experience.
