Rosemont Park Nature Reserve

I’ve live in Middletown for 40 years and March of 2024 is the first time I’ve ever stopped at this park. It is a very nice little park! It’s little, but super well kept! Very cute place to take photos! Also very well kept trails. They also have lil signs to tell you about the different trees and things! Will definitely go again. There was a Monroe Officer there having is lunch while we were there so I stopped and spoke to him for a second, he was very friendly and said they stop there often just to keep an eye out! 🩷

This is right around the corner from my work and has been a place I often go to even on lunch for a bit of peace. They recently added more trails and some benches. Also added a portable restroom. It's a beautiful spot to bring dogs or kids, and the elderly could navigate easily as well. All around, it's one of my favorite spots to just chill.

Very pretty little secret park. I've driven past this a million times and had no idea it was here. Feels like stepping into a private park.

I just recently moved to Monroe and was excited to have this area close by. I took my dog for a visit today. We both loved it. It is on the smaller side, but it is still very enjoyable. We walked the trails a few times before heading home. Will definitely come back again. It is however a shame to see that it has already been vandalized. Appears that someone was doing donuts in the nice grassy area by the parking. I believe the park has not yet even been open a month ☹️

A bit challenging to find but worth the effort. Small park with soft walking trails and a few open spaces for sitting but bring your own chairs or a blanket. Short paths but you can circle through them for greater distance.
