What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
This place grew on me the more time I spent here. It's relaxing and peaceful, with lots of birds in the area. The trail follows the creek. The big downside is it is just the one short trail.
Read more about Maple Grove Prairie & Dog Play AreaThis was such an amazing place! It was so big! That was the first time we ever let our dogs off of their leashes! It was so clean and was very well maintained! The staff was so amazing and friendly! I recommend this to any dog owners!
Read more about Tom Harvey Memorial Dog ParkDog park: Beautiful large dog park just off of I-71. Lots of room for you and your dogs to shake off the travel fatigue. The walking trails are oval and paved, so it's easy to walk laps while the puppies play. If you use this park in wet weather, bring a towel to wipe their paws off prior to entering your vehicle. Poop bag stations are available, but the day that stopped in, they were out. Bring bags. There is one low spot in the large dog side of the park that gets wet, so be prepared for that if you visit on a rainy day. The park is well maintained, and the owners that use the park are good about cleaning up after their pups. Seating: There are benches to sit on. If you visit in the early am hours, bring a towel to whip off the morning due. There are lots of trees that shade the park until later in the am, so the due hangs around longer than if they had full sun on them. Parking: Medium-sized parking area. NO SEMI TRUCKS OR CAMPERS. Not because they don't want trucks or campers but because there is no room for large trucks or campers. Caution ⚠️ There is a bike trail that goes in front of the gates for the dog park. Please leash your puppies and look both ways prior to crossing the bike trail. Bathroom report: There is a handicap Porta pot available. It was clean the day I was there. Koda, the dobie was pleased... she loved making new friends Billy and Stella
