Rowland is a great place to relax. The trails are clean and the fishing is satisfactory. They stock trout early in the season and is great fun for all. There is a nice memorial for 9/11 and overall the cleanest park in the area. The only deduction was for the portapot that wasnt exactly stable.
I have walked the park for years and as always I appreciate and respect the property as if it was my own. I pick up cans and paper and put it in its proper place. Thank you for keeping up on the maintenance on all the trails.
This playground doesn’t appear to be super popular so it’s nice of you want somewhere a little less chaotic to take your kid. The playground has swings, slides, and lots of climbing elements. There is a covered pavilion and a port-o-potty. Lots of parking right by the playground and pavilion. There are trails that lead off to a lake area where you can fish. Very close to 113.
A small park that's great for fishing, mycology and peaceful walks, of course. Quiet and usually not busy, although it is near the Ohio Turnpike. There aren't many trails or much distance/variety to them unless you observe the biological specimens all around you.
Always peaceful. Nice trails (including horseback). Meadows, swamps, woods, hills and a stream. Nice place to walk a dog.
