San Gabriel Valley Humane Society

I’ve taken my kitty here twice for vaccinations. The price is about one-third of other vets, the staff are friendly, and the car-side service is super convenient. The only downside is limited vaccination hours and appointments fill up fast.

VERY helpful staff. Clean location. Hope they bring back spay and neutering though. I've been coming here for over 40 years. Got Pepper, the best dog I ever had here in their puppy pen back in 1977. Took Boots n Smudge to get fixed and numerous other visits.This location was on a tv show a few years back, too. Definitely a great place. Boots, Putty and Teepee are pictured below.

Toughest decision I’ve had to make was today. Today I surrendered my pet Bentley who’s a 3 year old American Bull dog mix. I am having a change of living situations as I have recently been hit with financial hardship amongst other life problems. It’s important he finds a forever home and lives the life he’s lived all along. He’s a well behaved and well adventured dog and deserves the continuance of that plus more. Bentley I love you will all my heart. I hope someone is able to welcome you into their life. Never could I have imagined separating from him, I pray for someone to welcome you into their lives

This is definitely one of the nicer humane societies in the area. The people that work here seem to care about the animals and the people coming to adopt them They make everything very easy for the new pet owners and offer veterinarian services at a low cost. I've adopted from this facility a few times and have had good luck with all of them I would say be patient, expect some strong smells and loud noises, and of course don't forget to wash your hands before and after visiting.
