The gazebo by Sandy Wool Lake is a lovely spot for gatherings, relaxation, or simply enjoying the peaceful view of the lake and surrounding hills. It’s a quiet, scenic area that works well for picnics, small celebrations, or just a rest stop during a hike. 👍 What’s Great: Beautiful view of the lake and rolling hills, especially around sunset. Shaded seating area that’s perfect for hot days. Nearby walking trails make it a good stop for hikers. Great for family picnics or a quiet moment by the water. 👎 Things to Note: Limited seating inside the gazebo, so better for small groups. Can get a bit windy since it’s open on all sides. Parking is available nearby, but depending on weekends, it may get crowded. Restroom facilities are basic and not right next to the gazebo. 🌟 Overall Impression: A simple but charming gazebo with a relaxing view of Sandy Wool Lake. It’s not a big or fancy structure, but it adds a cozy touch to the park. Perfect for a calm break, a casual meet-up, or to just sit quietly and enjoy nature.

Great Place to spend time with Family and Friends for Hiking, Biking, Picnic, Fishing just downside is no signal it means you can truly focus on creating great memories not just being on phone. It was a great experience since it was a company picnic.

Nice park and lake! Two parking lots with lots of availabilities. It’s quite busy at noon, so better come earlier. Fishing is permitted with certification. The other small pond for kids’ fishing without any restrictions or requirements. We saw two white cormorants coexist with wild goose and other birds. There are several trails to hike, you may also try paraglide activity here with perfect landing zone and wide views. There are three playgrounds for kids next to the parking lot. Perfect place for family, especially in autumn, winter, and spring.

Beautiful lake visit great seating area. Pet friendly. Some people do fishing or barbecue so it's definitely a family friendly park.
