Hidden Gem for Dog Lovers! 🐾 This is hands down the biggest dog park I’ve been to in the DMV area! It’s a hidden gem that every dog owner needs to check out. The fenced-in area is spacious—probably about half a mile long—with plenty of room for pups to run and play freely. There are benches scattered throughout for owners to relax while the dogs have their fun. One of the best parts? There’s a beautiful lake nearby that’s perfect for cooling off on hot days. It’s not fenced, so it’s best for dogs with good recall, but it’s such a great bonus feature. Plus, there’s a built-in water station in the fenced area to keep your dog hydrated. Overall, this park is an amazing find—peaceful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for both dogs and their humans. Definitely worth the visit!

I've been looking around for dog parks where my little 5 lb Yorkie could feel comfortable and this is it. The place is nice and usually well kept. On our trip today, the small dog area was quite overgrown, but usually it's much tidier. All the dogs and owners have been mostly friendly. And the access to the creek is great on a nice sunny day. Do recommend this dog park.

I was at the dog park on Saturday sometime around 11am and noon, two young owners one female and one male both white, who looked to be in their early to mid 20’s, about 5’10 to 6’ tall, they had a white and tan husky looking mix dog. Their 60-70lb dog viciously and aggressively mauled my 15lb cavapoo randomly, picked him up by the neck and did a death shake. Another dog owner helped me rescue my dog but my dog was badly hurt and while I was tending to my dog, these two irresponsible owners ran away without saying a word. Looking for any assistance with leads to the bad owner and aggressive dog.

I love bringing my dog to this park! It’s such a large, open space with plenty of room for dogs to run around and play. There are usually lots of other dogs, and most of the owners are friendly and responsible, which makes it a fun place to visit. That said, it can get a bit crowded during peak times—especially on weekends—so it’s definitely important to keep a close eye on your pup. If your dog is a little more calm or prefers a quieter environment, I’d recommend going during off-hours! Overall, it’s a great park for social, active dogs and a wonderful place to spend some time outdoors!

Absolutely love bringing my puppy to this dog park. It offers a great opportunity for you to have your dog off leash without feeling they are forced to be with a bunch of dogs in a small confined area. I have met so many friendly owners. The community is very inviting and positive.
