The trees & shade were lovely! Took 4 people stretching to encircled this tree. Highly recommend as a picnic spot if you are okay with eating on a blanket.

Beautiful little park, nice for a picnic with children. Great tree coverage and neat little playground. Found it on a bike ride (yay Pike Ride best ride share ever!!) Trail that goes a good distance.

Great place to enjoy a walk on the paved pathways alone or with your dog. Plenty of grass and most people clean up after their dogs. Trash cans available. Nice playground. 4/14/25 - work beginning on replacing lights along pathways.

Shooks Park continues south from Franklin Ave. to the railroad tracks just past Fountain Blvd. Bike path follows it on through to Fountain, CO. Beautiful area converted during Urban Renewal.

I lived across the street from it for nearly nine months and fell in love with the view of the trees, the squirrels, the geese events bands, food trucks, and beautiful breeds of dogs that walked their people there. Proximity to downtown restaurants & clubs. And quietness at night. A very NEIGHBORLY neighborhood.
