My favorite place in Silver Lake. Unfotunately, no dogs allowed on the Grassy Patch, but dog owners can still enjoy the running track around the Silver Lake reservoir and the dog park that are at the same area. The views are stunning. You can spot coyotes in the morning and at night, they are not afraid of people or even big dogs which makes me scared of them, so I try to avoid the area during off hours.

Great little tucked away park and grass patch. This is the perfect place to stop and stretch out after your reservoir run. Nothing fancy but it has nice tall trees so you can find shade or move around the grass to grab some sun.

Super chill spot in Silverlake. You will find a plethora of cute dogs hanging out here, as well as on their way to the dog park. But this is truly a low key patch of grass with street parking nearby.

Pretty decent grass if I ever seen it. Saw a guy running in jean shorts. Dogs were nice to see, but two small kids weren’t on leashes which was kind of annoying. Would sit on this patch again.

By far the grassiest patch on the south side of the reservoir. Great dog watching from the adjacent dog park too. Not to be confused with the more famous grassy knoll in Dallas, TX. I'll be back!
