Love coming here on a Saturday afternoon and just chilling with friends. It’s expansive, so there’s always room to setup a picnic and play music and eat and drink. Super dog friendly too. Sometimes there’s live music and it’s great for people watching. Highly recommend.

Moving from Oregon to Koreatown, LA is rough, mainly because there is literally no parks anywhere to just chill at. No grass to touch. Silver Lake Meadows and the whole reservoir area is such a lovely escape from the concrete. In the distance the mountains paint the backdrop. The meadow is a lovely spot for a picnic, doing yoga, people watching, dog walking. One of the places I keep coming back to.

Silver Lake Meadows provides a tranquil escape from city life. The vast, grassy area is ideal for picnics and includes a few walkways. There are beautiful specimens of native plants located around the perimeter. Dogs aren't allowed, but there are benches along the fence for sitting. Overall, this is a green space in Los Angeles that one cannot afford to miss.

A great little nature respite from city life. Expansive grassy lawn for relaxing, picnicking, and light exercise. Definitely explore around the edges to check out the beautiful native plants, especially when many are flowering in spring and early summer. Dogs only allowed outside the main fence, but there are benches to hang out along there too. Walking the perimeter of the reservoir is a 2.25 mile trek, making the meadow a good start/end spot. Highly recommend this gem of a green space in LA.

Nice place to picnic but the view is ruined by ongoing construction, permanent chain link fences, and there are no public restrooms. Could use more native plants and space for urban agriculture.
