The new renovated park offers some exciting new features. A mist machine, and no more sand. It’s this bouncy material. There’s a part for little kids up to age 5 and another 5-12. It offers plenty of shade and tons of sitting area. Overall very happy with the new renovations.
Park is great, but they need to figure out their lighting schedule. Sometimes their lights will work with switches throughout the tennis, basketball, and skatepark. And other times they just don’t turn on.
The park itself is nice but the bathrooms are a sneak peek into what it’d be like to pee in prison. The stalls are short so you can see those next to you and the mini stalls don’t have doors on them so you can see into the stalls you’re passing if there is someone using it.
The park was amazing. I enjoyed riding my bike, I went pretty early so I don't know what the neighborhood is like but it seemed really chill. Apparently it's a great place to walk your dog and exercise. I seen a lot of older couples walking staying fit.
Silverado Park is a very wonderful public park 🏞️ and gets to be enjoyed by our whole Westside community.
