Great park for younger kids - perfect for toddlers! It’s right beside the beach which is great if you wanted to do both in one day! The park has slides, swings, musical toys, mini climbing walls, different play bridges, a little car module, etc. The playground is not covered (does not have a shade cover like the surrounding ones). It does get shade from the surrounding buildings and high trees. There’s restrooms onsite and a few picnic tables.

Too bad the small consession closed down, it was very convenient to grab a small snack/lunch/ice cream. The newly remodeled playground is lacking. Sandy volleyball court almost always empty. Soccer ball space. Covered checker/chess tables, benches. Water to wash the sand off coming off the beach

South City Beach Park is a wonderful place to spend the day. The beach is clean, the ocean view is amazing, and the sunrise here is truly beautiful. There are plenty of amenities including clean restrooms, outdoor showers, and even a small cafe and bar for snacks and drinks. I really like the volleyball courts and the general court area, and it’s great to have lifeguards on duty which makes it feel safe. Sometimes there is seaweed, but it doesn’t take away from the experience. Overall, it’s one of the best parks in the area and I highly recommend it.

This park is extremely convenient to visit with your little ones. Parking won’t break your wallet and the beach is next to the park. Not too crowded on weekdays.

Pretty good size playground before you get to the boardwalk before the beach. Sand showers right beyond the boardwalk before you get to the park was really nice. The beach was pretty empty and clean.
