It's pretty quiet during the week with occasional visits from the community deer. The surrounding homes were built during an era when Mansfield must have been in it's prime. They are absolutely gorgeous. Big picnic area for group cookouts. Large enough area for a short walk with your dog.
We went to South Park on Friday for American Heritage Days. The displays and demos weren't set up yet. Today was just a couple rows of food trucks. We looked at the pioneer cabin, blockhouse, and history signs.
This is a lovely little park with a nostalgic theme, all located within a small enough setting to enjoy it without having to walk long distances.
