South Salt Lake Lions Park

Fun little park. It has a pavilion with 4 picnic tables, with a cool mural on the ceiling, several large trees with benches, we went at 10am and there was plenty of shade. It was nice because the slides face west so they weren’t hot from the sun yet. It has the playground with slides, a zip line, swings and Ive of those like puzzle things on the side. Even my 1 1/2 year old was able to play on the playground. Fun park! Oh and there is a dog park at the other end of the park.

Nice dog park! Not the biggest in the area, but a pretty nice size. There was a faucet with plenty of water for the dogs! My dog had a great time playing with the other dogs. The park had some grass but was mostly dirt which is fine for the summer but might be very muddy in the spring and fall… but overall a great dog park!

I love the fenced in areas for small and big dogs! Thr big dog area is sand and small dogs is a mix of astro-terf and woodchips. There is a lot of shade and areas to rest for the humans while their fur friends romp around.

Met some very nice people and loved their dogs! My dog had a delightful time. Not a huge area, yet more than adequate for dogs to mix, mingle and run, or rest in the shade. Water available for the dogs.

It's nothing fancy but it's nice. Went on a Sunday afternoon and we were the only ones there. There is water and bags available. Although the bags inside the fenced area were empty. Wish there were a few more trees but there is a shelter and some trees.
