Sunnyvale Park

Overall, it’s an average park for kids and families. The only standout features are a small trail you can walk around and a mural that gives the park a little personality.

Another hidden treasure, if map apps didn't exist I don't think very many people would even know it is here. The playground equipment is really new and fun. They have smaller areas for younger kids and a climbing area for older. There are enclosed areas (I think for soccer), basketball courts as well as a nice open green space. There is a paved walking path around the perimeter of the park. There are public restrooms, but they are kept locked most of the time. There is no drinking fountain. Pavilion and picnic tables make it easy to eat at the park as well. There is a decent amount of shade on the playground. They have a garden near the park, but it is locked and I don't know what it is for. Honestly, it is a great park with the caveat that you will often find those who are struggling in life a bit. They have never caused me problems, but it is worthy of note.

Sunnyvale is a super cute park. Unfortunately, there is a lot of homeless occupation and garbage just everywhere and drug use. I wish someone would take care of this adorable park. If they cleaned it I would go every day with my son. The community garden is locked up because of the vandalism. I would lock it, too.
