⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 We brought our mini dachshund to Swamp Doodle Dog Park, and she had an absolute blast! Her favorite thing is playing with other dogs, and she loved every minute of running, jumping, and socializing here. The park is well-designed, and I really appreciate that the fence is low enough to keep little dogs safe while still giving them plenty of room to explore. There was a great crowd when we visited—friendly people and well-behaved pups made for a perfect outing. Definitely a spot we’ll be visiting regularly!

Charlie and Ding Dong love Swampoodle Dog Park! The park is small, however there are always dogs here for them to play with. We’ve been to other dog parks in the city and at least in our experience, they were scarce with dogs or empty. In the summer, they have two water spigots to hydrate your dogs, however after Labor Day, the city shuts off the water. The setup of the dog park encourages socializing with other owners and has ample seating. The dog park is made of turf (so your dogs will not get muddy) and equipped with poop bag dispensers. Best dog park in the city!

One of the worst dog parks. And it’s not because of the dogs, but because of the OWNERS. WAY too cautious. They need to understand that dogs biting necks is NORMAL dog play. There’s been several arguments I’ve seen and been involved with because of overprotective dog owners. What those owners don’t realize is that they’re causing their dogs behaviors to be far worse. These owners also do not pick up on behalf of their dogs. The amount of poop I’ve seen and the park smelling like poo speaks volumes to the poor owners that go to this park. I think it’s just the area where these terrible owners reside. The dogs are all innocent and great. It’s the owners that need to get a grip and learn about dog behavior. It’s particularly bad in this park compared to other parks around the area. To the overprotective owners, please do your research and learn about your dog because you clearly aren’t doing this. That’s why this park has a reputation of overly protective owners it’s bad

A much needed enclosed dog park just north of H st NE. Artificial turf with drainage and some cement structures for pups to play on. Though the sign says a max of 8-10 dogs at a time there are often 20 or more in the evenings. Kid’s side is pretty cool too, but would have been even better to have a divided small and large dog area instead. Note - bring bug spray. Ever since they put in the plants on the sides the mosquitoes have been vicious! They do leave you alone with basic Off type spray though.

Lucky to have this beautiful dog park in our neighborhood! The people & their pups are great and the park itself is well maintained.
