Beautiful views. Well maintained trails and safe. Hot, cold or raining it’s a great place to walk with family and friends and or course your dog. Please keep your dog on a leash as Danville has a leash law

Go for a quick hike in Spring to get green color vitamins

Very few people, amazing view, almost unlimited parking space.

Please note: This review is for the regular Sycamore Valley Open Space (north side of Camino Tassajara). This open space is a wonderful place for a quick hike. All trails have decent hills so you'll definitely get a good workout! The variety of scenery, from Mt. Diablo to small canyons to singularly brown (or green) hills, is majestic. Definitely go as soon as you can, before the invasive species that is populating the (all of the) hills completely takes over (it's a sad sight). Watch out for the occasional rattle snake. Enjoy!

One of my favorite "hidden" open spaces in the area.
