Great playground for kids age 1-4 right along the long, paved walking trail.

Nice neighborhood park with one of the few off leash dog parks in Alexandria

This is a nice, quiet, clean park with lots of "Nearby Nature," to include a variety of lovely native plants and trees. This park has a nice "tot lot" playground, a picnic table, and park benches. It is adjacent to the paved Holmes Run bike/pedestrian trail that connects the Eisenhower Avenue corridor and bike trail into Old Town Alexandria to the West End. Members of the surrounding Wakefield Tarleton neighborhood and its civic association have done a fantastic job of investing their time in working with the city and Tree Stewards of Arlington and Alexandria to plant native trees, shrubs, and other plants, remove invasive plants, and pick up trash.

Nice park. Small, but high quality equipment in good repair. Good for little kids (toddler to early elementary). 2 swings, 2 teeter totters, and a small slide/train locomotive.
