Beautiful old castle ruins with walking paths around the property that lead into the woods. Gate is locked at sunset so be careful. Also be mindful that there are private events at times, but you can park in the neighboring city hall parking lot and walk the trails, when permitted.

While driving back to Ct from Me, we needed a break to walk around and I found this location on Google. What a beautiful building we happened upon here, the ruins are gorgeous for walking, sitting or for photraphy. I saw a cyclist as well. We did not see any restrooms on the premises

Hard to navigate where to enter and park. They need signage like entrance, parking, and especially plaques to read around the historical site telling details about it's history. What you see is nice and there's a decent view, but after 5 minutes we asked ourselves why we had gone out of our way on a sight seeing day for this. It needs to be more engaging to first time and out of state visitors.
