I would give this park a 4.5/5.0 because it is a large, well kept area composed of clean sand with large tree trunks to sit on (over which my dog enjoys jumping). The fire hydrant "prop" is a popular gathering feature for all the dogs. Automatic dog water fountains are available in the warm weather months in both the large and small dog areas, however, you'll want to pack your own after water shuts off in the fall (October-ish thru May-ish). The park is open during daylight hours except the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month when they are closed for maintenance until noon. Shade is available under a small shelter with a picnic table with benches and a few park benches. People are friendly here and most are conscientious about picking up after their pets. Poo-bags are usually available from stands although we keep one tied to our pup's leash for those times when they occasionally run out. out. The double gated entries make it easier to prevent "escapees" during entry/exit. Thanks for always double checking to see the latches drop properly--we've seen the larger, smarter dogs jump up to test the gate locks; and a few have "enjoyed their freedom" as they run for the surrounding fields of grass!

The kids love this park! It’s a great play place for toddlers and older kids. Bathrooms are close by with drinking fountains. Also a great loud to take a walk!

Went to a flag football game here, and it is very nice. The field was not soaking wet. GO COOPERHEADS!

Nice pool, great staff, and an overall enjoyable experience. Hopefully we can try out the play place when it's back open.

The new dog park is big. That is about the only thing positive I can say about it. Little shade, and poor placement of the water fountains. Only one trash can, and the gravel is to fine. Would have preferred pea gravel instead of the nasty beach sand they chose.
