I can't say enough wonderful things about this park. Beautiful setting, the cleanest and most spacious bathrooms/showers Ive ever seen at a state park. The staff are so friendly and helpful and there's a neat little shop at the entrance. I'll definitely be back and will send my friends!

Wonderful place and not too far from the city or airport. Definitely a diamond in the rough. Quiet, beautiful and lots of trails and picnic places

Turtle River State Park is a beautiful secluded park. Our campsite was level with power and water at the site. The comfort station in the campground looked to be fairly new, beautiful inside and out. Very clean. All the staff that we engaged with were very friendly and helpful. There is a seven dollar vehicle charge that is not mentioned in their website or in the price of the campsite. We definitely would stay here again.

I love coming here. Nice open spaces. They eventually added new cabins. I prefer primitive camp sites. They offer bathrooms and they have tons of spots. My dad and brother camp here annually. This place alone has convinced me to get an annual pass for the whole state. They also have a dog park which is a huge plus.

Beautifully maintained trails, campsites and cabins. Beautiful CCC stone structures with picturesque picnicking options and great educational programming. Don't sleep on this gem there's a lot to explore here!
