What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
This veterans memorial park is beautiful, has a peaceful and honoring energy, has a nice technological touch with a large touch screen that shows you the names on the walk of honor, donors, the granite and wooden benches. Names are searchable. The pillars of the various branches of the military are towering, graceful, and statuesque. The park has well kept grass, nicely kept grounds, a litter free walking path to honor those who served and sacrificed, and it leads to another park with a paved walk that you can enjoy with bunnies 🐰 squirrels 🐿 and crows 🦅. I found the benches and picnic tables to be well kept and inviting to enjoy friends and family while thanking those who served with the Air Force, Army, Marines, Navy, Coast Guard. Another amazing perk is the very clean and modern bathroom inside the building that contains the flatscreen of names. There’s also a display and interactive part for letters by community members and some historical pictures relevant to Grand Forks, ND. This is my favorite park in Grand Forks. So many things one can do while here and especially to appreciate and reflect on all the brave and selfless souls. Thank you to all those who made this happen.

Read more about Crary ParkThis park is a little hidden treasure most don't know about. It is a great place to bring young kids, especially if you don't want them to have a lot of interaction with others. The park is small and does not include public bathrooms and drinking fountains. It does include shelter with picnic tables. Bring whatever you need you need for a picnic or to lay out in the sun as there are not many trees blocking the UV rays. It's a great place to go and relax. Beyond the park is a basketball court as well as a baseball diamond. It is not an official baseball diamond with fences and dugouts, more of a fun and casual place for families to get together and play with their kids and friends. Great location for a group gathering, small company picnic, bridal or baby shower. Place for all young or old, to get together and play in a very nice, secluded neighborhood.
Read more about Prime Steel ParkI can't say enough wonderful things about this park. Beautiful setting, the cleanest and most spacious bathrooms/showers Ive ever seen at a state park. The staff are so friendly and helpful and there's a neat little shop at the entrance. I'll definitely be back and will send my friends!
