This park is basically used by irresponsible, low-level dog owners with poor manners. Even though trash bins are properly installed, the area is unbelievably full of dog feces, completely ruining what used to be nice grass 😑 There is a dog park available, yet many owners don’t use it and instead let their dogs roam freely off-leash. Since this park is open to children as young as two years old, parents with young children should be cautious of potential accidents caused by dogs, including pit bull attacks, as well as irresponsible owners ⚠️ If an accident happens, these owners take no responsibility. They don’t think about the risk of their own dogs being euthanized, nor about the harm caused to others. As a dog owner myself, I feel angry every time I see such irresponsible behavior. That said, the area itself is very safe. There are no signs of drug dealing, and there is no smell of marijuana. There is usually the same homeless person present, but he only rides the swings or spends time quietly. I’ve also seen him talking with others occasionally, so he may be peaceful.

It is really sad that this is a relatively new dog park area and nobody cares about picking up after their dog. We want the neighborhood to be beautiful but don’t do anything to up keep it, not fair to just rely on park maintenance. There is literally two big bag dispensers in the dog area. Overall it is a nice park but this is a bad look.
