I stopped by Veterans Park to check it out and catch some Pokemon 😁 This park has a really awesome playground for kids. And restrooms are a huge plus. The nature gives a prairie vibe, which I enjoy. Close to a waterway and trails. Great place to enjoy a nice walk.

Amazing park. I do believe they need to update the playground. Updating would go well how big this park is. In the past I have seen weddings here. Wildlife strolling. Trails all over, Lots of parking and a restroom. This would be a great place to hang out for a couple hours.

We brought our dogs here to cool off. No one was really here so it was nice because we could just let them run for a bit. But be aware it is pretty smelly and we definitely have to give them a bath when we get home. It looks like they have a really nice playground and a lot of open spaces for kids or just walking around too.

Such a peaceful and beautiful location! Nice walkway, a tribute to veterans and each branch of the military. A playground, benches and picnic tables.

This park is wonderful! Brighton applied and received grants to rebuild parks this year but we've had to wait for our county to open. Xmas in July! For real!! We just visited this one today and I'm super happy. Idk how they planned this theme but it is amazing and hits home.
