It's an okay park at best, imo. Attached right at the backyard of an apartment complex and a school, it's basically an extended backyard for both that's just open to public use. The playground is tiny and they lack trees/shade so going any other time outside the late afternoons is bound to get scorching hot. The views are severely lacking compared to other parks in the Springs within a 10-minute drive radius. Spacious parking area though. Unless you live in the units nearby, I wouldn't recommend this park for you.

I really like this park but I am not going to stop by anymore. I took my dog and we were walking o n the sidewalk on the street side of the baseball field. There is trash everywhere and someone is living under that under pass under Carefree. They have a cart and they dont throw away their garbage and I stepped in human waste in the grass right there. How disgusting! Not only that but there was a family or whatever with 2 dogs and 2 kids. One guy was riding his dirt bike through the whole grass area while one of the dogs chased it off leasehold. As soon as my dog saw that, she to wanted to join in on the fun. I had to leave before she did her business because there were too many distractions like those, which shouldn't be there in the first place. She almost pulled her leash out of my hand and got away from me. What if the guy riding the dirt bike didn't see her and ran her over in the freaking grass in the middle of the park?!?! My dog also has gotten sick from there and I do not let her eat things. Please clean this place up because it has gone down the hill, fast.

We did a large Easter event and except for a couple carelessly left piles of dog poo the park was great! I really wish the city would open the bathrooms though.

my brother goes here all the time nice park for some kids and they have swings which makes the park worth going to, because if a park doesn't have swings it's a waste of time haha.
