The park itself is really nice, but there’s trash everywhere, especially beer cans. You can even see some floating in the water, which is pretty sad since people aren’t taking care of their own garbage. Other than that, it’s a unique and fun place to look for fossils! I found a snail and a claw that have already turned into rock.

We hiked down from Samson Park to the falls. The trail could use some maintenance, but it was a fun steep hike. The vistas are pretty, and while steep, the hike was enjoyed by my wife and I. Regrettably, there are a few spots that people have left a good bit of litter. It could use a bit of TLC along the trails.

The trail to get here isn’t anywhere near as challenging as I hoped but still the waterfall was pretty. (10/28/22) Came back here and did a different trail which was much better! A lot more found, I found an additional set of little waterfalls and jumped onto a bunch of boulder to get some good photos. Loved it! (11/3/22)

Beautiful place. Took my dogs out here early this morning. Saw three deer! Pretty fun hike. Be careful there are some steep parts and be sure to bring water!

Small waterfall, but it is beautiful. The trail is steep but it is not difficult. You can see some trash, and bottles around the trail. Without the garbage issue, the trail is fun, nice landscape with a small dam, waterfall, lake and little hill!
