The Watts Park is a nice little getaway in the center of Fort Worth for the kids with two sets of playground equipment (one is for ages 2 to 5 and the other is for ages 5 to 12). There is a pavillion, as well. The only downside was that the playground equipment is not shaded from the sun and there was some trash in and around the pavillion.
It's a very nice clean park, can't complain their.. My husband had to verbally ask a gay homeless couple who were sleeping on the playground. We waited to play but first they had to get up and leave. The reason why ? The playground is not a place to sleep at while people visit.
This is a private public spot where you can sit and watch the kids while you catch up on you're reading or if you choose to walk around on the sidewalk track the burn a few extra calories while you're watching the children it's a good clean place.
