Its a wonderful place to walk, play baseball game, jogging, taking your dogs for walks most of the day is quite, so you can just sit and take care! Thank you!

The park is at first a wonderful site in such a poor and impoverished area. However once you actually begin to use it and go to it regularly you notice that the people who live around the park disrespect the park. Trash everywhere. People without their dogs on leashes. Needles. Liquor bottles. This park is on the bad side of town, and it shows if you look a little closer.

It is friendly to everyone, let's feel free to come here and walk, run or ride your bike through here until the downtown.

Pros: A few covered picnic tables, small stream running parallel to the park, decent playground, serene for the most part, lots of mature trees, space to run around and/or ride bikes. Cons: No official park parking, litter, drug paraphernalia right on walkway, visible empty liquor bottles, and neighborhood feels sketchy. Not a relaxing place for parents as "interesting" people kept walking through which increased my hypervigilence and paronia. First and last visit!

Love it. Where else can someone walk and see rich and poor, black and white, uncomfortably make eye contact and move on? It's like we're all on the same team.
