We had a BBQ here on Sunday. We brought our own grill so I'm not sure if there are grills already there for public use. There is a pond you can walk around that's nice and relaxing. Lots of playground area for kids. Bathrooms are right by the playground and they were well taken care of. Large grassy area for a small game of football or soccer. It's a nice park. Will definitely visit again.

One of the most beautiful parks I’ve ever been to. You can fish with your license and children under 9 can fish legally without one! Perfect for walking your dogs, birthday parties, and pic nics!

We went to the renaissance Arts Festival at Young Park, in Las Cruces New Mexico, yesterday. I’ve lived in Las Cruces for 5 years, and as a Realtor I’ve driven by the park many times. Never had a reason to drop in and check out the park, until this event. I was really very impressed by the awesome grounds! Well maintained hilly grass areas, and a very cool man made lake in the middle of the park. Great paved walkway throughout, and large shade trees dot the landscape. There is a large, covered area with many picnic tables. The lake has a variety of geese who call Young Park home too! It was a great experience for certain, and will definitely return, not only for scheduled events, but to walk the dog, or just a place to take a quick lunch break!

Nice park with many play structures for all different ages. I even saw teenagers playing and having fun. There's a pond where you can fish or sit and feel the ducks. Also, they have bathrooms!!
