Love the sprawling green spaces for my dog to be off-leash. Doggy poop bags are always stocked. Well-maintained. I don’t like that every time my dog gets in a few gulps of the pond water on the Large dog side, she is violently ill for one to two days. For now we only visit the small dog side.

Be cautious bringing your dogs here, especially in the evening hours. Tonight my dog was attacked by a large brown dog whose owner regularly walks the perimeter of the park at night. The dog grabbed my dog and shook him before the owner quickly left the park. This has been an ongoing issue for several months. The same dog has shown aggressive behavior toward multiple dogs here, and several regulars at the park are aware of it. Fort Worth dog park rules clearly state that dogs exhibiting aggressive behavior must be removed immediately, and owners are responsible for injuries caused by their dogs. Unfortunately that does not appear to be happening. If you bring a friendly dog here, especially a smaller one, keep a close eye out and be cautious. The incident has been reported and hopefully the situation gets addressed before another dog gets seriously hurt.

This is a GREAT dog park! Lots of room for dogs to wander and the pond/lake just makes it better!
