What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
Newhall Park has a little bit of everything. I especially love the playground as it has 2 play structures, one for smaller kids and one for bigger kids, and it's fenced in. There are 2 soccer fields, restrooms, bocci ball courts, a pond, a creek, and lots of walking trails. It is the perfect place to get some exercise and tire out the little ones. There are picnic tables, trees for shade, and friendly geese (friendly in the sense that they didn't attack my toddler who chased them). All in all, it's a big and clean park and one of our favorites.
Read more about Newhall Community ParkI go here because it's perfect for driving my rc cars but it also has miles of paths for walking a dog area for dogs and a playground for kids you can reserve the coves there for party's or bbq's. it's also a memorial dedicated to the American veterans that served our country.
Read more about Newhall Dog ParkThis park is in Concord. It us right alongside the Iron horse trail. The iron horse trail starts at this point and goes south towards Pleasant Hill and goes beyond. The trail is good for a nice stroll and also for running. I would recommend running in the morning since there will be shade in the trail. In the evening the Sun will be on the side where there is no protection or buildings and hence it will be hot. The trail has nice distance markers on the ground which helps you to decide the length of walk or run.
