Samson and I took our 1st visit to the dog park near the house. It's a park I know well but this was the 1st dog park visit for both of us. He met a husky cousin and a retriever cousin today. Samson ran, and sniffed and played and had a good time. We will be back soon.
Read more about Dog parkThere is a large open grass area for games, freebies, running around, or whatever one needs it for. The small picnic area is under some trees, so there is some escape from the sun. It cab get pretty busy in the summer, so if you are working with a large group have someone show up early to hold you area.

Read more about Woodcreek ParkThis park is clean, nice and dog friendly. There is a spot where you can have big dogs and small dogs here. There are a couple of groups of tables where you can have a picnic at but no grill so possibly bring your own food ready or your own grill. There is an issue though: NO BATHROOM!!! It's better to place a couple of porta potties here so that way people won't have an issue of either having to go before they get, or waiting to go home to use the bathroom.
