What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
What a beautiful oasis is this small walking park with spectacular views. Arrayed with lush flora and plant life that almost make you forget that you are exercising. There are also little workout stations throughout the park for those who may want to enhance their conditioning.
Read more about Reuben Ingold ParkI have been here a few times to walk my dogs and truthfully I do not enjoy this park. It's basically a large traffic circle with grass, trees and benches. It's surrounded by homes. I have two small dogs and can walk around the circle in four minutes and this is letting them stop and sniff at every tree. In the end usually after starting the second lap, I'm so bored that I leave the park and walk my dogs in the neighborhood (which defeats the purpose of taking them to a park). There are a couple of benches, and a fountain that doesn't work. There are yellow pylons around the circle for walking and a sign states one lap is 1/6 of a mile. I personally find this park very boring, but many people seem to like it. Also be careful. Most drivers are respectful but some cars drive too fast. You have to park in front of someone's home and cross the street to reach the park.
Read more about Circle ParkA great park! Morningside High School had its reunion there. We used the walkway and grassy hill areas. Very nice. The grass is well maintained. The two swimming pools were open and had people enjoying the cool clear water. I parked near the playground area and saw nice equipment for kids to play on with families. The separate brick buildings that house the bathroom areas are very nice. And provide more privacy. I recommend the park for all types of fun, events, family outings and more. .
