Amazing location. The views- the work out- the other dogs. Was a great experience for my dog and we spent a good 3h there today. There’s clearly marked on leash and off leash areas- i didn’t want to press my luck so waited until i crossed that line- good thing i did, there ARE park rangers. Parking was easy- owners were respectful and cleaning up After their dogs etc. highly recommend!
Read more about Alston Park Off-Leash Dog AreaWhat a gem of a dog park. Grass, trees, and even some water to splash in. My doggles all had a good time.
Read more about Shurtleff ParkThe dog park is gated and spliced between. Big and social/hyperactive dogs and small and timid dogs. Both sides are relatively big. Obviously the one for bigger and active dogs is the bigger side. But the one for the small and timid isn't considered small either. There is plenty of space and is way better than other parks that try this type of division style. 100% will recommend to folks to take their puppers here. There are always someone here for your puppers to play with. If not, wait 15 mins tops and someone will come. This park is never empty.
