Whether you're looking for a peaceful morning stroll or a breathtaking sunset, the paved boardwalk offers stunning, unobstructed views of the Long Island Sound. It is impeccably maintained, making it a perfect, accessible escape for everyone. It’s a fantastic spot for a leashed walk with your pup while enjoying the salt air. The combination of rocky shorelines and lush green spaces is incredibly rejuvenating. It feels safe, welcoming, and captures that classic New England shoreline charm perfectly. Highly recommended for anyone needing a fresh breeze and a scenic view! Stowe's Seafood is the perfect place to grab a lobster roll to enjoy after a walk. It truly completes the West Haven shoreline experience!Stowe's Seafood as the perfect place to grab a lobster roll to enjoy after a walk. It truly completes the West Haven shoreline experience!

Great stop on clear day for a walk along the paved Green Way. You can park for free in off-season but will likely need to pay in high season or have a resident pass. The beaches have added sand not captured in earlier maps or photos. The bridge portion near parking was closed in December 2021. The shore police and a restaurant are along the same acre walk and nearby.

I love to visit this park whenever I come on vacation and to meet my son's family . I am excited to walk on all the bridges across this beach where the sparrows live inside the steel rails and the people including kids don't disturb them. Hats off🎉🎉🎉 Old grove park has plenty of benches to relax , chat and enjoy the greenish surroundings..🌿🌿🌿🌿 Special mention for ice-cream vendor 😋😋 Lovely trees are there as shelters and provide a cool and peaceful atmosphere for senior citizens.. 🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🍁🍁🌲🌲🌳 Plenty of parking lots are there for free to local residents and reasonable prices for others.. Request the department to provide more toilets and attention for senior🎶 citizens..for exclusives... it always brings me nostalgia for earlier visits.. Overall this is one of my favourite chill out spot in Connecticut 💖💖💖🙏🎶🎶🎶🤩🔥
