What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
Wonderful place for dogs to play, and learn to socialize with each other! All the dogs here are non-aggressive and well-behaved. I've come here every day for months and I've never once seen a full-on dog fight. You can feel very safe bringing your dog here to have fun and play. There's always a smorgasbord of breeds--everything from huge Danes and Pyrenees to 8 lb Yorkies--and they all get along. If you think your dog doesn't play nice with other dogs, it's probably because he hasn't had much opportunity to socialize with other dogs. Bring your dog here and see how he does. You'll be happily surprised!
Read more about Dog Park at Washington ParkI really like this dog park! It was very clean, which I really appreciate. At some other parks, I feel uncomfortable letting my dog run loose because there’s often stool everywhere. Here, everything looked well-maintained and tidy. I’m not sure if it was due for the weather, the lack of dogs but it was pretty quiet. I also liked that you can still see cars passing by from the park, it feels open but still safe. Definitely one of my favorite spots to bring my dog!
Read more about Kenney Shield’s Dog ParkA lot of room to run, doggy bags, plus a hose/slicker with a water bowl to fill up. The area is all mulch/dirt, so may want to avoid when it rains. But overall very nice area. Everybody was mindful of their dogs. They have a small dog area as well. Overall, IMO much better than the Fort Thomas dog park which is just a huge hill.
Read more about Newport Dog ParkSmall park but very modern facilities. Nice selection of trails. Would like to go back a few more times to hike all the trails and go through their disc golf course
