What dog owners are saying

I LOVE this park! It is a great place to start the day as you're likely to catch a beautiful sunrise. I come here to relax and walk. I'm not able to walk fast or very far without stopping a minute to reboot, as my OLD softball body adjusts to being older 😆. I choose to walk here for the beauty and ease of the trail, the friendly people I meet every time I come here AND because there are ample park benches to rest on. I love the inclusivity with the sign language guide at the children's area. The playgrounds look so fun 😁. I always swing for a few minutes while I'm there.
Read more about Lea McKeighan Park - SouthGreat dog park. Been part of our lives for years. Well maintained and supplied. Good for either walking around a track or letting the dogs wrestle/fetch/run in the middle field. Very friendly crowd with more than a few regulars. My dog and I always look forward to coming.
Read more about Happy Tails ParkGreat park we use daily but NO support from parks and rec with aggressive animals toward people. There’s one girl who has a dog that has aggressively ran at me and backed me up against the fence 6 times now until she gets it off me. Parks and rec tell me to instantly call animal control that is not open many times I am there or on weekends. Call and leave a message they say with no response. I shouldn’t have to leave because of one aggressive animal that has something against me when we get along with everyone else.
