What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
Price per dog was fantastic, to keep in mind there is 7 acres for my dogs to run around freely and safely. This dog area was very clean and has a beautiful view.
Read more about Iron Nail Ranch SniffSpotA nice park if you're interested in swimming in Alligator's Creek. If you like scenery, early spring is the best time to visit. There are some lovely flowering trees throughout the park. There are some decent walking paths in the lower part of the park.
Read more about Civic ParkThe most popular feature if this 74 acre park is the 1.5 mile paved path which connects to Barathaven Park. There is also "prairie in progress" and a soccer field. The parking is adequate with accessible space which can access the paved path. This park is along Dardenne Creek, but it is out of sight without access. There is no shade nor seating. The only restroom is a portable one. I did walk under the road to snap a couple of photos of Dardenne Creek.
Read more about Bluebird Meadow ParkWe were very happy to see that the 2,000 year old native American burial Mount has been preserved and interpreted with signage. There is a paved walked path that encircles it. There are additional walking paths in Dames park, a couple of playgrounds, pavilions, ballfields, ample parking, and restroom facilities. Watch out for flooding when Peruque Creek rises.
