What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
This is a good sized, but "cute" park. Interesting obstacles! Separate sections for large and small dogs, plus a section that can be rented (Ingrid's Park) Bags, trash, water are all present ( water turned off for the winter though)
Read more about Shaker Field Dog ParkStill a nice park, although the grass had been worn down in some spots. Slatted pallets have been used to cover one mud spot instead of filling with peastone or mulch. Benches need a little TLC. Water is going to be turned off for the season shortly. Most of the bag dispensers were empty. Remains carry out for trash.
Read more about Terrill Park Dog ParkA park 🏞️ that is aimed at dog 🐶 owners. Two areas for Fido, which the 🐕 dogs I observed loved. The other reviews are correct, this park 🏞️ needs trash 🗑️ cans! Noticable amount of 🚯 litter. A police 🚓 officer arrived and walked the paved 🚲 bicycling trail that goes under the street. Nice view of the Capitol building. Benches available. If you want to let your dog 🐕 have some space, come here. According to the information ℹ️ kiosk, there are plans to extend the trail. Update: June 2024; The area looks a lot better when I visited again. The litter 🚮 was under the overpass where a homeless person was throwing his stuff around. There was an area next to the park that was being cleared. I don't know if it is for private or public development.
